Audio you only notice when it's wrong.

Sound is the thing people feel before they notice anything else. Signal flow is the quiet craft of getting it right - a clear mix in the room, a good blend in the band's in-ears, and wireless that never cuts out mid-song. When it's done well, nobody thinks about it at all.Signal flow is the quiet discipline underneath everything else - gain set right at the source, one input feeding the room, the in-ears, the broadcast and the recording, each with its own mix, and every wireless channel coordinated so nothing drops in the middle of a song. When it's done well, nobody thinks about it at all.

Set it right at the source.

Everything downstream depends on gain structure - clean level set at the preamp so nothing has to be rescued later. From there the same inputs split into the mixes that matter: the house PA, an independent in-ear mix for each musician, a dedicated broadcast blend that isn't just the room mic'd, and a clean multitrack record for later.

Wireless is the part that fails loudest, so it gets coordinated on purpose - frequencies chosen to avoid each other and local TV, batteries and RF watched all service. A weak channel (HH 3 above) shows up amber long before it drops, and the same reading feeds the health layer, so a dying pack is a Thursday problem, not a Sunday one.
